First post in a looong time. Basicly I got busy and Living In The City is not really that regular anymore. Sorry.
But now there’s good news! A new Living In The City issue is out, and it’s a photo special. I made it for the K-Town Hardcore Fest 2018, and there’s tons of gig shots from recent years, mostly local, some from my travels.
You can download it here (PDF). Please share it with the world.
Yeah, you read that right. Get the 6th edition right here. If you like it, then consider getting a printed copy.
There’s plenty of options – from emailing me to going to one of the many stores, which have the issue in stock. See a full list here.
If you want free copies for your zine library, bar, café or whatever kind of place, you happen run, read this post.
Over and out
Great news! Living In The City got funding, which means distribution of reading copies for common places – such as zine libraries, cafés and bars – will now be possible.
This has been a thought for some time, but has previously been impossible due to low funds and punk rock economy.
But local funding group Snabslanten have now made this possible – I’m very thankful.
There will also be a reprint of all old issues for the same project.
If you want to have the zine at your place, feel free to contact Living In The City via this link. You will – however – have to pay the postage yourself.
Please note, that this only goes for copies, which are kept at common places where several people can enjoy them. Thank you.
The sixth edition of Copenhagens perhaps only punk and hardcore-zine is here. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
If you want to get a copy I recommend showing up for CPH Zine Fest in Ungdomshuset – Copenhagen – on October 22nd and 23rd. Read more about that event here.
UPDATE: The 6th issue is now in stock at various stores in Copenhagen. Read more here.
Living In The City also takes a great pleasure in hosting the first ever CPH Zine Fest party. Be sure to show up. More details here.
Hello readers. Just a quick update on the future of the zine. There’s a 6th issue in the making, and it will feature just as much as ever.
Expected release date around October – at the latest for Zine Fest in Ungdomshuset, where Living In The City will also curate a party! More on that later.
Have a great summer.
The fifth issue of Living In The City is as close to done as it can be!
Featuring: Big Mess / Bliss / Dark Matter / Cheap Art by Ángel Herrera / Danni Storms latest work / a special nathue.dk photo selection… And much, much more.
This time in glorious A4-size.
It’ll hit the streets on May 20th!
See how you can buy it right here. The first day Ungdomshusets Bookcafé (one of the distribution sites) is open after the release is on Thursday May 26th. Insula Records will have them soon as well.
If you want it fresh from the press, show up at this gig at Bumzen, Copenhagen. I’ll be there!
For the PDF, you’ll have to wait a little. But juuuust a little. Promise.
I hope you like this new website by the way.
